Senior Project Manager

Job Summary The Senior Project Manager - Base Operations Support is a key member of the AECOM Federal team, responsible for growing and maintaining AECOM Base Operations Support business. The successful candidate will lead project execution strategy for AECOM's BOS contracts.  The candidate will oversee the day-to-day operation of both CONUS and OCONUS BOS projects in support of DOD, DOS, USAID, and other agencies. This position will have periodic travel to potentially hostile locations throughout the world. Responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and vendors Client management Business development and proposal preparation Program and project management Cost estimating Budgeting Other duties as required Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Logistics or related field, or directly related experience 15+ years of professional experience related to Base Operations Support (BOS); operations, maintenance, and repair; contingency operations; and contingency construction for U.S. Federal clients in CONUS and OCONUS locations. Experience with a diverse U.S. Federal government client base including Department of Defense (DOD), Department of State (DOS), General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), USAID, Veterans Administration (VA) and other Federal clients. Demonstrated success in building strong client relationships and developing and executing strategic business plans that result in growing CONUS and OCONUS markets. DOD Secret Security Clearance Experience as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager on IDIQ contracts managing multiple projects in multiple locations worldwide simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to build strong internal teams through collaboration, networking and recruiting. Thorough understanding of DOD, DOS and other Federal agency budgetary processes, funding sources and acquisition strategies. Established track record of marketing and winning DOD and DOS projects CONUS and OCONUS. This position requires successful completion of the AECOM Project Management Certification program within 6 months of hire. This certification program is a series of learning modules and is available on-line through the AECOM Learning Management System at no financial cost to the employee. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
