Summary:
Maui Whitening is the country's original teeth whitening salon. As part of a $10 billion industry, Maui Whitening is positioned to provide customers an in store teeth whitening experience with proven effective results. The benefit to clients are whitened teeth at hundreds of dollars less than dentist office visits and more effective than home whitening kit products.
The Assistant Manager will oversee and run all daily retail activities of the store front. This includes all aspects of guest interaction, sales, appointment planning, staff scheduling and inventory control.
The individual should demonstrate expertise in all daily retail activities for the Whitening Salon.
Responsibilities:
Open and close store daily; including point of sale (POS) cash system, inventory control, client appointment scheduling and staffing for the day.
Assist in booking appointments for teeth whitening sessions.
Monitor inventory of whitening products and recommend re-order points and timing.
Instruct clients on proper procedure to self-administer the teeth whitening process.
Assist in promoting the store through social media and other advertising formats.
Maintain a clean, comfortable and safe store environment in order to ensure an optimal client experience for their teeth whitening session.
Educate the whitening process so clients are comfortable with the procedure.
Promote up-selling to clients on the full range of products offered by Maui Whitening to maximize the selling opportunity.
Assist in identifying niche market opportunities to gain new clients.
Experience and Requirements:
Experience from a hair/beauty salon, nail salon or day spa is a plus.
Retail floor or management experience is a plus.
Knowledge of POS systems desired.
Previous work experience with direct client interaction is preferred.
Required to have working knowledge of tablets, PC's, Excel, Word, etc.
Knowledge of social media sites: Facebook Twitter is desirable.
Possess excellent phone skills to engage prospective customers and gain appointments.
High School Degree is required, or College Degree is a plus.
Candidates who have a passion for personal hygiene offerings are preferred.
Comfortable working as the on-site expert in teeth whitening with clients. Full training will be provided prior to start date.
Salary offering will be commensurate with experience. Please provide salary expectations.
Candidates will be required to provide references from past relevant work experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
