We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Trainer to lead training initiatives for the Food and Beverage Department across our properties.
Job Overview:
The Trainer for Food and Beverage Department will be instrumental in maintaining and elevating service standards across By the Sea Resorts.
This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs for food and beverage staff, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience for our guests.
Key
Responsibilities:
Training Program Development:
Design, develop, and implement training programs for various departments within By the Sea Resorts, with a focus on the Food and Beverage Department.
Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and create targeted programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Onboarding and Orientation:
Be present during the orientation to meet all new hires and facilitate the transition from onboarding into training.
Shift-based Training:
Be available to take on training shifts at all By the Sea Resorts locations as needed.
Provide hands-on training to employees during different shifts to ensure consistent training delivery.
Be able to fill in openings in all locations during training as well as when there are no trainees.
Skill Enhancement:
Focus on continuous improvement by identifying areas for skill enhancement and implementing training solutions.
Train employees on industry best practices, customer service excellence, and operational procedures related to food and beverage services.
Evaluation and Feedback:
Develop and administer assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
Provide constructive feedback to employees and management based on training evaluations.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor and uphold high service standards in the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional dining experiences.
Collaborate with other departments to maintain cleanliness and order throughout the resort.
Collaboration:
Work closely with property managers, department heads, and HR to identify training needs and develop targeted solutions.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in corporate training, specifically in food and beverage roles within the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, service standards, and customer satisfaction principles.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs that align with organizational goals.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Flexibility to travel to different resort locations as required.
