Assistant Property Manager Reports to:
The APM will report to the assigned Property Manager and will undergo a thirty day probationary period and annual performance evaluations.
Purpose of position:
The APM will assist the PM and will share responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance for the units rented through Sail Away's short term rental program in their respective portfolio.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
24/7 availability to assist with guest requests, cleaning issues, or maintenance requests.
Open scheduling.
Act as the Property Manager on the Property Manager's days off.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Strong communication and organization skills.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure that properties are clean and well-maintained before and after the guest.
Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, escalate issues as necessary to management.
Assist in quality control inspections.
Provide extraordinary customer service by going above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable vacation experience.
Participate in training and development programs to improve job performance and stay up to date on company policies and procedures.
Input and follow up in a timely manner with all requests.
Assist with departure inspections.
Assist with arrival inspections.
Communicate cleaning issues to cleaning vendor and Property Manager.
Communicate maintenance issues to Maintenance Tech and Property Manager.
Help other departments in slower periods with tasks such as packing linens, cleaning office, conducting inspections, filing, etc.
Use company email, phone, and communicate efficiently.
Maintain a professional attitude with all guests, vendors, owners, and co-workers.
Look for leads for new rental properties in field and conduct business development.
Represent Sail Away favorably in local community.
Learn and use TRACK (management software) efficiently.
