8K a year We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sporting Clays Manager to join our team and manage our club activities.
You will be responsible for supervising and training the staff, organizing and publicizing shooting events, maintaining the club facilities and equipment, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of the club members and guests, and developing strategies to increase the club's revenue and membership.
To be successful as a Sporting Clays Manager, you should have a passion for shooting sports, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a strong knowledge of the gun industry and regulations.
You should also have a proven track record of managing a club or similar business and be able to handle multiple tasks and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and train the staff and handle any issues or complaints from the staff or club members.
Organize and publicize shooting events, such as competitions, tournaments, clinics, and socials, and coordinate with other clubs and associations to arrange inter-club events.
Maintain the club facilities and equipment, such as ranges, targets, firearms, ammunition, and safety gear, and ensure they meet the standards of quality and safety.
Promote the club to the public and potential members and develop marketing and advertising campaigns to increase the club's visibility and reputation.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding firearms, ammunition, and shooting activities, and keep updated records of licenses, permits, and inspections.
Manage the club's budget and finances, and monitor and report on the club's performance and profitability.
Develop and implement strategies to increase the club's revenue and membership, such as offering new services, programs, or discounts, and soliciting sponsorships and donations.
Evaluate and improve the club's operations and services and seek feedback from the staff and club members to identify areas of improvement or innovation.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred.
Previous experience as a club manager, or in a similar role in the gun industry, such as a range officer, instructor, or salesperson.
Passion for shooting sports, and extensive knowledge of firearms, ammunition, and shooting techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with a diverse team and clientele.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding firearms, ammunition, and shooting activities.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
