This is a full-time salaried position and five years of commercial/large laundry operations experience is required.
Experience in vacation rentals or hotels is preferred.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience.
As laundry manager, you will lead our teams and make sure work is completed on time and up to standards.
The Laundry Manager is responsible for the daily operations of our linen facility ensuring that all laundry services meets the highest possible standards while complying with health and safety guidelines.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall operation of receiving, washing, packaging and delivery of laundry.
Maintain inventory of laundry supplies Perform all administrative duties for the department including, but not limited to, budget control, scheduling, payroll, purchasing of supplies, hiring, performance appraisals, etc.
Ability to plan and anticipate business needs by reading and interpreting daily/weekly occupancy report.
Train team members within the department specific property standards Ensuring the importance of safety procedures and processes Ensure all areas of facility are clean according to property standards.
