RGP primarily focuses on LitRPG, GameLit, Progression Fantasy, Men's Romance and Cultivation Fantasy genres.
2023 has brought expansion into new genres such as Romance, Thrillers and Science Fiction.
RGP hopes to provide enthralling escapes and action-packed adventures for our listeners and readers.
RGP aims to provide a more authentic, transparent, and personal experience for our authors.
Roles & Responsibilities A Brief Scope:
Assist the owner with daily tasks such as planning, coordinating, and completing projects for book publication launch, publishing timeline, and project scope.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, quick learner, efficient, problem solver.
The publishing world is always changing and we must be able to adapt quickly.
This role will be involved in many key aspects of RGP's business.
Tasks include:
data entry, customer service, bookkeeping, book formatting, audio file processing, light graphic design, coordinating schedules, project management, running errands, processing contracts, social media management, website management.
Lots of room for growth for the right person as we hope this assistant position will evolve into a project and acquisitions manager.
Develop and execute eBook and audiobook production plans and schedules Ensure that company publication targets are met while maintaining quality standards Hold auditions for voice actors Allocate and manage resources, including editors, artists, and narrators, to optimize workflows and production efficiency Monitor production of collaborative members to ensure the project is published on time and within scope Enforce quality control measures so that publications meet content and design quality standards Oversee the layout, formatting, and design of publications, ensuring consistency in typography, graphics, and overall presentation Be knowledgeable about digital publishing platforms and authoring tools and assist in the preparation of content for online distribution Maintain records of published materials and ensure that content is properly archived and organized for future reference Keep all parties updated regarding the publication launch and ongoing sales Assist with bookkeeping and royalty reports Attend Occasional book conventions (overnight travel) Running personal or business related errands on occasion Plan and execute advertising campaigns on digital platforms Work with authors on their social media platforms, creating campaigns, timelines, assets, pre-order incentives, etc.
for the ramp-up to publication Contribute to RGP company social media accounts Proofing/Editing manuscripts or audiobooks in down time We work with authors, artists and authors from all over the world and therefor must work a very flexible schedule including some nights and weekends.
The nights and weekends part can be done remotely.
RGP is ran from an in home office, so must be comfortable with this.
This will be a hybrid position working in office and from home for approx 6 months.
Eventually it we hope that it can primarily be remote.
I will absolutely work with the right candidate to learn everything they need to know.
Requirements:
Proficient computer skills- proficient in Microsoft Office, use of the internet et Proficient in social media, Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik Tok Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills Excellent customer service skills Resourceful - are you the kind of person who self-teaches themselves something they want to learn on youtube?- that's what we need!! You don't need to know everything but you need to be able to learn it.
Ability to use Mac and Windows Flexible schedule with ability to work nights and weekends (nights and weekends will be remote work) Love for animals (we have our pets in office) A reliable vehicle Ability to pass a background check Associates Degree or 2 years related experience in customer service, admin work, accounting etc.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
Experience in eBook or audiobook publishing (KDP, ACX) Experience with project management Advanced excel skills Experience with graphic design Experience with sound engineering Bachelors Degree Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
