Assists clients with routine payroll related queries, resolves and responds timely and provides quality client service.
Accurately enters and maintains employee related information in the payroll system.
Reviews new hire and employee change paperwork and collaborates with client for the objective of producing accurate, compliant and timely delivered payroll.
Greet visitors and answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
Prepares and accepts delivery of packages from various carriers.
Be safety conscious and maintain office areas in a clean appearance.
Assist as needed with applicants, new hire paperwork.
Provide support by researching and following up on any inquiries regarding payroll and employment agreements.
Tracks and follows-up with employee payroll documentation.
Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
Maintains knowledge of payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations.
Assists with special reports and various projects as needed.
Track toner, check and other miscellaneous office supply needs and order as necessary.
Perform other duties and projects as requested by the Office Manager.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
