Freemodel is seeking entrepreneurial and creative self-starters who want to build their own businesses as home renovation experts, and be a part of building an early-stage Silicon Valley startup.
The ideal candidate will be within commutable distance for projects located in the 30A/Panama City Beach area.
We are a fully licensed and insured renovation company that helps homeowners maximize the sale price of their homes by providing a turnkey pre-sales renovation service.
Our company designs, manages and pays for remodels with no upfront costs.
Homeowners pay out of escrow when their homes sell.
The Home Renovation Project Manager is critical to Freemodel's service.
As an independent contractor, you will be paid per project, and will be responsible for core project scoping, material selection, contractor bidding, project management, and customer communications.
You will work closely with Freemodel's founding team and other Home Renovation Project Managers to not only execute on projects and ensure every homeowner is a happy customer, but also ensure that the projects are on time, prioritizing quality, and on budget.
Requirements The ideal Home Renovation Project Manager has previous residential interior design experience and has rolled up their sleeves to manage an entire project -- interfacing with clients, delivering impeccable designs within the established budget, developing timelines, and coordinating with contractors to meet deadlines.
This person knows a thing or two about the hustle of running their own business and will own their projects from start to finish.
While being local to the projects is critical to the Home Renovation Project Manager role's effectiveness, it is also important that you are comfortable with technology.
We use various forms of software and hardware to capture project information and scope, submit detailed bids, track budget, and communicate with stakeholders.
Here's what we are looking for:
Experience in residential renovations, interior design, and contractor management Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and navigate conversations with Real Estate Agents, home owners, and contractors A sense of urgency, prioritizing quality and the ability to guide the renovation from start to finish Proficient in productivity software, preferably Google Workspace products/Apple products Willingness to be Onboarded and equipped with Freemodel resources to set you up for success as you work with Freemodel Benefits This is an entrepreneurial, 1099/contract position where you will be paid on a per-project basis, with no limit on what you can earn.
Additionally, you control how many projects you take on at a time and where.
Freemodel provides full back-end support from our Project Success and Learning team who will provide learning and certification opportunities for anyone interested, a Contractor Network in all of the states we operate in, and the opportunity to create your own 'portfolio' for exposure opportunities that you and your business can benefit from as a Freemodel contractor.
We are a fully insured, comprehensive pre-sales home renovation service that helps homeowners sell for more by renovating before they sell.
We provide a full GC (general contractor) back-office including marketing, sales, capital, software, and support.
