Job Duties:
Receives work order requests for maintenance from employees, tenants, customers, or other visitors.
Ensures work is performed in a timely manner, and triages requests to prioritize the most critical repairs.
Inspects and performs preventative maintenance or as-needed repairs on buildings or grounds, which may include electrical or HVAC systems, grounds, or amenities such as pools or playgrounds.
Makes basic repairs and coordinates the work of specialists when more complex repairs are needed.
Schedules maintenance or repairs to minimize disruptions to residents wherever possible.
Experience and Education:
Performs work under general supervision.
Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.
Typically requires a high school diploma and 2 to 4 years of experience.
